Psycho-physical Strengthening:

The physical efficiency of the students is necessary, if not decisive, for the purpose of their technical training and formation, because by strengthening their physical skills, it has to keep them safe from risks connected to underwater activity, in terms of appropriate performance of in- and out-breathing of respiratory gases, through the practical knowledge referring to the development of psycho-physical skills - by direct experience of the School and by public acknowledgment of hyperbaric medicine, of fundamental importance and targeted on:

a)– physical stamina reflected on psychic skills and vice-versa, to be developed during the course, the basis for the future, essential SELF-CONTROL of one's conscious renunciation-drives and/or reactive passivity, faced with requested psycho-physical engagement, necessary to create the prodromes of a future diving engagement to be always carried on in terms of absolute and total accident-prevention.

b)– the achievement of a balanced weight/strength ratio, mostly in terms of necessary fat-reduction , due to the evident and well-known slowness of the fat itself in releasing N2, in a phase of Absolute Pressure reduction;

c)– increase of the chest-expansion with subsequent volumetric lung's growth and reduction of CO2 "stagnation" in anatomic standstills, to avoid a possible hyper-capnic condition, and the start of an asphyxiated and syncopal condition of the subject during the practical training period in water, as well as under it.

d)– the development of TEAM WORK to accomplish the coming underwater operative tasks requested by the sector's entrepreneurs, which must be able to evolve in WORKING PERFORMANCE and therefore in future occupational warranty.

The School will be inclined to make the student learn, understand and appreciate the value and importance of psycho-technical aspects conditioning the diving activity, even in expectation of a long permanence in water. The steely discipline imposed on the students during this very delicate training stage is intended to develop a self-discipline emerging in a shape of mind to be reflected on the diving operations themselves.
